What's the problem this feature will solve?
Users should be allowed to set whatever relative time they want. As of now they are limited to only a few options (1m, 1h, 1W, etc.) or absolute times (e.g. 04/06/2013 08:14).
Describe the solution you'd like
Some way for the user to enter whatever relative time they want. Possibly mimicking the design that @michaellans used his pystriptool.
Another option would be to let users initiate autoscroll from whatever x-range the plot is set to at the moment.
