I can't build this app in Fuse mode

SKIP_MODE=fuse skip app launch launches an app where the Settings screen says "Powered by Skip Lite".

After the merge of #100, it's supposed to generate a Fuse app.

I’m about 70% sure #100 merged too soon. I don’t think it’s possible to actually build it in Fuse mode as-is in Skip 1.8.14.

I added some debug logging and even when I explicitly set SKIP_MODE=fuse, this line in SkipstoneCommand.swift runs:

let hasSkipFuse = configMap.keys.contains("SkipFuse")

… and evaluates to false.

skip-fuse-ui does get added to the SPM dependency tree, and compiles, but it’s not in that configMap, and so automatic mode in skip.yml always just picks transpiled

You are right, this was merged with insufficient testing and the "Fuse" mode was not actually building in fuse mode for the released version of Skip. As well as needing this line, we will also need #106, which enabled conditionally disabling some of the playgrounds/view/modifiers that do not yet work in Skip Fuse mode.

Hopefully it will all be working by tonight. Thanks for pointing it out!

I never got it to build Fuse, and it still doesn't. On Skip 1.8.19, I ran skip app launch in skipapp-showcase 873f3d3 and the Settings screen says, as always, "Powered by Skip Lite."

I finally got it to build in Fuse mode. I have to explicitly opt in to it, and I always have to clean everything from scratch when switching modes (which is painfully slow). git clean -xdf && SKIP_MODE=fuse skip app launch will launch the app in Fuse mode.

I think that's probably not how you intended it to work, though…?
