Is there a way to add a support for custom repositories such as AWS S3, etc?

Shrinkwrap Resolver delegates artifact resolution to Maven Resolver (formerly Aether), so custom repository transports like S3 need to be configured at that layer rather than in shrinkwrap-resolver itself.

How to use S3 repositories:

1. Add an S3 wagon/transport dependency to your project. Maven Resolver supports pluggable transports via the wagon mechanism. Once the S3 transport is on your classpath, Maven Resolver will handle s3:// URLs transparently.

2. Alternative: Use a repository manager (Nexus, Artifactory, etc.) as an HTTP proxy in front of your S3 bucket. Then configure shrinkwrap-resolver to use the HTTP URL of the repository manager - no special transport needed.

Shrinkwrap Resolver passes repository URLs directly to Maven Resolver without transformation, so if Maven Resolver supports the protocol, it will work automatically.

This isn't something we would add directly to shrinkwrap-resolver since transport handling is Maven Resolver's responsibility.
