Thanks to @silidos, we've identify several Atlassian platform gaps that currently block this enhancement.

1. Third Party OAuth 2.0 apps (3LO) administration setup does not have Permissions/Scopes suitable for Atlassian GraphQL API query being used

2. Atlassian GraphQL API currently does not support THIRD_PARTY_OAUTH tokens for notifications query

Appears there is some movement on the Atlassian side, but not enough for full support yet. Here is a new error from the underlying subgraph
