All layers in basemap on by default

I created a Mapbox style (mapbox://styles/seasketch/cmb1cvt9b00b301sw2p1i0lyj) that for use in a survey (https://www.seasketch.org/oep/surveys/539/0). When I view the style as a basemap in my project (https://seasketch.org/oep), including the survey, all of the optional layers are on by default. Any way these can be turned off by default? Seems like that was the intention.
