The system cuda version is 12.0 and only install 11.8 version cuda.

If you need CUDA 11.8 or 12.0 support, you can still use older versions of rapids-singlecell. However, up-to-date versions will no longer support these older CUDA releases.
This is due to two main upstream alignments:
• CUDA: The RAPIDS ecosystem now strictly requires CUDA >= 12.2 (see the RAPIDS Installation Guide). rapids-singlecell is mirroring this to ensure stability and compatibility with the underlying libraries.
• Python: Following the PyData/Scientific Python release support guidelines, we have updated our supported Python versions. Current and future releases of rapids-singlecell will only support Python 3.12 and 3.13.
I'm closing this issue for now as this is intended behavior moving forward. However, feel free to reply if you need help figuring out the best older version of rapids-singlecell to pin for your current environment!
