UI becomes unresponsive when switching Translation language

Behavior

When changing the translation source language in the Translation Language settings, the app becomes unresponsive.

Steps to reproduce

1. Open the app
2. Go to Settings
3. Select a language under Select installed keyboard
4. Open Translation language to choose a language

Result: App becomes unresponsive
Expected: Selected translation language is applied and app remains responsive

Closed by #556. I'll take a look at #561 as well to see if there's something we can add from there, but the issue is fixed :)
