[enhancement] name of the pc for linux environment

linux opensuse 13.1 x86_64
Vlc 2.2.0

if i scan for vlc server and vlc server is installed in MS Windows OS
then
remote for vlc uses the name of the pc and not the ip address

if i scan for vlc server and vlc server is installed in OpenSuse
then
remote for vlc uses the ip address and not the name of the pc

if the ip address of the opensuse pc changes then i must change the settings of remote for vlc

i know by default avahi protocol is activated with opensuse and other linux as ubuntu

please add the compatibility to avahi
