Z-sim crashes on running applications from Lonestar benchmark

When I try to run the Galois benchmarks (https://github.com/IntelligentSoftwareSystems/Galois), it crashes with the below error

I have attached the Zsim config file below. Any suggestions on what could be causing this error?

Could you let us know which zsim commit are you working on? The log you provided seems to indicate that you have used my patch at #114 .

The first thing you need to do is to make sure you generate a patched root directory, using misc/genPatchRoot.py, and specify this directory in process0.patchRoot in your config file. The number of cores and other information should match your config file. The simulated app may use syscalls and the root directory to examine this set of information of the system. Without such a patched root, the app will see the configurations of the host system rather than the simulated system. For example, if the host system has more cores than the simulated system, the app may decide to execute a thread on a core that does not exist in the simulated system, which causes the empty mask error you see here.

If the error still happ, please make sure you have merged all commits from that pull request. Then please add some print statements at https://github.com/gaomy3832/zsim/blob/d82a625d6bea9b0d08857000a45b0426ec083c92/src/virt/cpu.cpp#L140 to check cpumask and set are not empty here, and their values match.
