Stable ESP32 Version Recommendation Needed (Slow Frame Update Issue)

Hello,

I tested several recent versions/commits on a single ESP32 setup, but many had issues.
I finally found one that works, but the frame refresh/update is very slow and delayed.

Which version/commit is currently the most stable for ESP32?
And what settings/configuration are recommended for smoother performance and faster frame updates?

Any help would really help my university project. Thanks.
