From 9bb12e5e13e4b11be67fee235e88bb11d88e379e Mon Sep 17 00:00:00 2001 From: Hunter Hogan Date: Wed, 28 Jan 2026 19:23:26 -0500 Subject: [PATCH] Fix grammar and readability issues in README I didn't add an Oxford comma because the text only has one items-in-series clause, so maybe you omitted the comma on purpose. I only changed clear problems. I did not, for example, change inline Latin abbreviations (_i.e.,_ "_e.g._") to English. Nevertheless, every style guide I've read, including [_The Chicago Manual of Style_](https://www.chicagomanualofstyle.org), suggests that style. I didn't lint the markdown, but I strongly recommend that you lint the syntax because there are multiple issues. --- README.md | 18 +++++++++--------- 1 file changed, 9 insertions(+), 9 deletions(-) diff --git a/README.md b/README.md index f73ae044f..687f5b169 100644 --- a/README.md +++ b/README.md @@ -1,9 +1,9 @@ # Inter Inter is a typeface carefully crafted & designed for computer screens. -Inter features a tall x-height to aid in readability of mixed-case and lower-case text. +Inter features a tall x-height to aid in the readability of mixed-case and lower-case text.
