Are there any other dependencies?

Thanks for your response. I was hoping to have some step by step instructions for trying this out end to end.
When I tried to run it locally, I appear to be missing some server side components (http://localhost:8680/wsapi/easyXDM/cors/).

Btw, this appears to be a library which provides Angular integration with easyXDM and wraps the GET/POST in Promises. Please let me know if my understanding is wrong.

That is correct, there is a server side component to easyXDM and this project has only the client side. You're also right that the easyXDM service wraps easyXDM in Promises. I think the best thing for you to do is to get easyXDM working in your environment first with plain old JS and then move on to creating your own simple wrapper. This project has a lot of crufty specifics that will get in your way. EasyXDM is a little fiddly on its own, so it would be good to get it working before introducing Angular. —

That's the function where the easyXDM library gets called. It looks like that's the only place it's used.

If it's possible, I recommend using CORS instead of easyXDM.

http://enable-cors.org/

It requires adding some headers to the HTTP responses (server side) but it's more widely supported. And you don't have to add any libraries, Angular handles it.
