inference running

Thank you so much for making the code available!
I was able to train the Unet and Diffusion models using short samples of ERA5 data. I am having problems understanding how to run the inference code and the directory structure.
For example, I created these directories under src and ran TrainUnet.py:
src
--- Models_unet
this contains the checkpoints x.pt
--- results_unet
this contains png figures obtained during training
--- runs_unet
this has files events.out.tfevents.1738631121.hpc-02.1611056.0

what should be the directory structure to run the inference codes save_test_truth.py and save_test_preds.py ?

Hi Charles,
Thanks for your question. I believe you should be able to run those codes from within the inference/ directory. Did you get an error when trying this? You may need to edit the following paths to the directories where your data and models are saved and where you want to plot and save the output:

## Dirs
data_dir="/home/Everyone/ERA5/data/"
model_dir="/home/Everyone/Model_Inference/"
plot_dir="../plots/"
save_dir="../output/Truth/"
