[Feature]: would you consider a PR adding Markdown Rich Text rendering?

Summary / problem statement

Title is pretty self-explanatory. Notepad3 is my viewer/editor of choice, fast startup, simple, no tab, you name it.
With markdown getting more and more popular (for AI plans, todos, etc.) I'm in need to display them with an easier to read output and was wondering if a toggle to enable RTF rendering of .md would be a desirable feature?
I'm currently trying to get something with the use of AI-assisted tools.

Funny, I encountered this just today myself. I uninstalled Obsidian (a wonderful Markdown viewer/editor) because I want something as simple as Notepad3 to handle it. Open to software suggestions if there are good alternatives, but Notepad3 is one of my favourite pieces of software, not to mention favourite text editor.

@JLuke73 This week I tried marktext with was recommended as a lightweight good FOSS Markdown viewer/editor. Well it looks good but definitely not lightweight.

While VS Code’s robust Markdown rendering is highly valuable—especially as Markdown becomes the de facto standard in AI context engineering and AI-CLI skill development—supporting this feature significantly increases the maintenance overhead for Notepad3.
