Hello,

I have a niche use case: I want to turn of TV that is connected to PC when main display goes dark or when screen is locked.

I figured out TV end (in Home Assistant), but it would be nice to have an additional sensor that would provide information about lock or display status.

Is it possible to add?

I have to think about it, because it depends on the device state when it is locked/black screen: is it still on or does it suspend all the activities ? If IoTuring gets suspended then it would be necessary to add an automation to send an IoTuring message when PC is going to be locked. Otherwise if it doesn't get suspended, I think a better a solution could be found.

At least for my use case locking desktop on windows 10 ([win]+[L]) doesn't suspend PC and everything still functions (just access to desktop needs password). And after some time screens turn off.

IoTuring funtions like shutdown still work in that state.

Also it would be nice to have options to send status update before hibernation and shutdown that would allow me to automatically turn off TV (LG TV displays annoying bright images instead of just shutting down when signal is lost).

Hi, I can implement what you are describing. What I need is a command for cmd or PowerShell that is able to detect that specific state.
