Release Information

Purpose

This document defines the release state, freeze logic and version alignment between the Robotaxi.de website and the corresponding GitHub reference repository.

It establishes a single source of truth for:

  • versioning
  • release dates
  • content freeze boundaries
  • change discipline after release

Current Release

  • Release ID: 1.0.0
  • Release Date: 2026-02-03
  • Status: Frozen (pre-public)
  • Planned Public Website Relaunch: 2026-02-06 – 2026-02-08

This release represents the first complete, internally consistent reference state of the Robotaxi reference framework.

Freeze Definition

“Freeze” means:

  • All core content is finalized in structure and meaning
  • No semantic changes without a new release ID
  • Only non-substantive changes allowed:
    • image replacement
    • alt text completion
    • layout or styling adjustments
    • accessibility improvements
    • minor wording clarifications without meaning change

After the freeze:

  • analytical scope
  • terminology
  • structure
  • source set

are considered stable.

Website ↔ Repository Alignment

This repository mirrors the analytical and normative framework published on:

https://www.robotaxi.de/

Alignment rules:

  • identical release ID
  • identical release date
  • identical source set
  • identical methodological boundaries

The website footer reflects this alignment, e.g.:

Stand: Februar 2026 · Release 1.0.0

Versioning Policy

Version format follows semantic versioning:

MAJOR.MINOR.PATCH

  • MAJOR — structural or conceptual changes
  • MINOR — content extensions within the same framework
  • PATCH — corrections without analytical impact

Release 1.0.0 denotes:

  • first complete framework
  • internally coherent reference state
  • baseline for future comparison

Change Policy After Release

After Release 1.0.0:

Allowed without new release:

  • formatting corrections
  • typo fixes
  • accessibility metadata
  • repository metadata (topics, badges)

Requires new release:

  • new sources
  • removed or replaced sources
  • new analytical sections
  • changed conclusions or interpretations
  • altered methodological scope

All substantive changes require:

  • version increment
  • updated release date
  • documented rationale

Editorial Responsibility

All releases are:

  • curated
  • reviewed
  • approved

by the editorial responsibility stated in the website imprint.

AI-assisted tools may support drafting or structuring, but no release is automated.
