Do you have more detail? On very old phones, the issue might be that github uses a newer SSL certificate that these phones do not support. Download via a thirdparty browser like Firefox should work in this case.

Same issue here, with Android 15 and Motorola G15.

I found disabling VPN solves the issue.

Still wondering, since I use so many Foss apps, and not a single app had problems using VPN.
Please fix this issue.
