Support for detecting slnx files

Is it not working for you? It could help to run csharp-ls --diagnose

I have the same issue. I see the support should be on the 0.21.0 tag but something is wrong here. I use GNU Emacs to develop a large monorepo of .NET projects.

Currently this is what I'm getting:

[eglot] Connected! Server ‘csharp-ls’ now managing ‘(csharp-mode csharp-ts-mode)’ buffers in project ‘REDACTED’.
user-error: No definitions found for: LSP identifier at point

I tried to reproduce my issue but it seems to work well in the new project :/

ie the problem could be projectile/eglot not selecting correct root in emacs for the project, I had similar problems for f# lsp server, too

Yes, that was the problem.

This is a quite problematic repository, because there are many sln/slnx files in the same depth level and csharp-ls takes the first one of those that it finds. I had to remove other (older) sln(x) files for csharp-ls to pick the one I wanted.

The behavior that I see occuring is that csharp-ls (or eglot?) goes to the project root and then looks for solutions. The one improvement I can see in this case is to find the nearest sln(x) file, like Emacs locate-dominating-file.
