[Bug]: Latest update breaks Web Search plugin

Bug description

Hi!

My QS app recently updated to version 2.5.7, and since then, the web search plugin no longer works correctly. If use the first pane to choose a site to search, second pane is "search for", and then type my query into the third pane, when I hit "return" it just exits the text entry field. Hitting return again does nothing.

Notably, if I enter the search query into the first panel, use "find with" in the second panel, and choose the site to search with the third panel, it still works correctly.

Steps to reproduce

1. Choose site to search in first panel
2. Choose "Search For…" action in the second panel
3. Enter search query in the third panel
4. Hit return

Expected behavior

QS will launch a new browser window with a search on the chosen site.

Actually, an update: the other method (query first, "find with…", then site) also doesn't work correctly. It seems to search Google every time, no matter what site I've chosen.

Thanks, you are correct. This is a regression in an attempt to fix #3096
