Alias 'httpx2' as 'httpx'

i encountered a solution for migration option on Michiel's httpxyz fork:

Personally I'd be against aliasing modules automatically. Maybe a

import httpx2
httpx2.alias_httpx()

...

?

Make it a bit more explicit? Main concern is confusion... If API interfaces / Classes / Methods change their signatures in httpx2 will consumers end up with implementations that look like httpx but its actually httpx2 under the hood that might (will?) work differently?

my goal is to gain familiarity and so people can go use httpx in their import with implement this alias (it can be manual like that doesnt matter auto or manual), and from httpx to httpx2 migrate will easy, people only call the alias function, also maybe we can add depreaction warning

I agree with @KeeganOP - an optional function to alias would be preferable, but it should only be used by applications, not libraries, and I worry it'll get used by a library and confuse/upset a lot of people.
