🛠️ Captcha Solver Extension – Support & Help

Welcome to the official support page for Captcha Solver Extension. This extension helps users automatically solve simple CAPTCHAs on government websites ending in .gov.in.

📥 Installation

You can install the extension from the Chrome Web Store (link after approval) or manually using developer mode:

  1. Download or clone the extension files.
  2. Open chrome://extensions/.
  3. Enable Developer Mode.
  4. Click Load Unpacked and select the extension directory.

🚀 How to Use

  1. Visit any supported .gov.in website that shows a CAPTCHA.
  2. Open the Captcha Solver Side Panel from the extension icon.
  3. The extension will automatically detect the CAPTCHA image.
  4. Click Solve, and the recognized text will be copied or autofilled (depending on the site).

🔒 Privacy & Permissions

We value your privacy.

  • No personal data is collected or shared.
  • OCR (text recognition) is done entirely in your browser using Tesseract.js.
  • Permissions are only used to read CAPTCHA images and inject scripts into .gov.in domains.

🧩 Troubleshooting

❓ CAPTCHA not being solved?

  • Make sure the image is visible and not dynamically loaded after page load.
  • Some image types or distortions may be too complex for OCR. Try refreshing the page.
  • Check if browser zoom or extensions are interfering with the layout.

❗ Extension not loading?

  • Make sure you have allowed permissions for the site.
  • Reinstall or reload the extension.
  • Try opening the Side Panel manually if it doesn’t appear.

✅ FAQ

Q: Does it work on every CAPTCHA? A: No. It is best suited for simple image-based CAPTCHAs, not audio or logic-based ones.

Q: Can I use this on non-government websites? A: No. The extension is limited to *.gov.in domains for safety and permission control.

Q: Is my data being tracked? A: No. All processing is done locally. We do not collect or transmit any user data.
