Cannot manually add package even though docs say it's possible

Description

Documentation says it's possible to create packages by defining metadata and manually uploading them, but I don't see that option anywhere in the UI. https://docs.pricore.dev/guide/packages.html#creating-packages

NOTE: I've redacted some parts of the screenshot, but they aren't important for the issue anyway.

GitHub is connected as can be seen in the screenshot, so not sure if GitHub is connected that all other ways to add a package get removed?

Steps to Reproduce

1. Go to Packages page
2. Observe there is no way to manually upload a package

Expected Behavior

I'd expect to be able to manually upload a package that might not have a GitHub repository

Actual Behavior

I cannot manually upload a package that might not have a GitHub repository

Thanks for flagging this! You're right, that section was documented based on an early prototype that never shipped. I've removed it from the docs.

I don't currently have plans to implement manual package uploads, but I'm curious about the use case. What's the scenario you're hitting? A package that lives outside any Git host, a legacy artifact you want to mirror, or something else? Happy to reconsider if there's a real need.

Yes something like a legacy artifact that doesn't make sense to create a git repo for because it's not something that will be developed further. Might be an artifact we get from a 3rd party that we don't want to manually distribute to devs or to each project, but also shouldn't create a git repo for and connect to the registry in that way because it's not our source code. We could add the code manually into the project, but that wouldn't make sense because it beats the point of using Composer then.
