[Bug] Terminal Error - failed to connect: sshchannelrequesterror (failed to start pty)

🐛 Bug Description

Unable to use terminal over ssh. Other features working fine like file explorer.

📱 Environment

• sysAdmin version: e.g., v1.1.1
• Android/iOS version: Android 14
• Device model: Realme. 9 Pro+
• Server OS: Arch Linux LTS kernel

🔄 Steps To Reproduce

1. Open sysAdmin app
2. Connect server
3. Open Terminal

🧐 Expected Behavior

After opening terminal, connection should be established without any errors.

🚨 Actual Behavior

📋 Additional Context

Tried from another Android device. Still same issue. Tried from Termux app, I was able to connect to SSH using Termux app.

Issue happens to me too. Bit of a niche case...managing a Linux based handheld.

I normally use ConnectBot or Termux, both of which continue to connect to my handheld over SSH, successfully.

Same issue here. I also don't have any sort of meaningful system stats, e.g. processor count or% utilisation. Maybe SysAdmin relies on some program I haven't got installed?

@JinEnMok do you mean you have the same issue of not being able to get to a command prompt AND you don't see system stats?

Thr only thing that needs to be installed on the 'server' machine is SSH

Correct, I've got both issues. I can view the file system, user list, and I think I saw a glimpse of ram and processor usage, but right now it all stays at 0.

I've got the same problem. I downloaded Termius to see if I can narrow down the problem, but Termius allows me to use the terminal without problem. I've spent an hour researching to figure it out, but can't really find anything to help.

Same problem with SSH connection when I try to open a terminal on my Zenfone 8 Lineage 12.2 and my OnePlus Pad 3 Lineage 13.

Same here, this project seems dead, unmaintained
