Saving cannot be triggered when I terminate terminal emulator forecely

I'm using iterm2;

• When I do CTRL+Q to the current terminal, changes are not saved automatically and nvim puts me in recover mode.
• Maybe, there is a way through trigger_events, but I couldn't figure out name of the trigger that represents terminal shutdown event.
