Martial Arts, faction add-on. #5
Description
Factions can choose a style of martial arts. The specific members can level up this style, and even take split courses, depending what they do. To choose a style, do /f art (style). To see your current progress learning a martial art, do /f art desc. The arts, and what they do is as listed. To do a special technique, do /strike (number). To make a style better for the whole faction, have a diamond in hand, and do /f reform. To level up, you must have EXP. The gauge is 100EXP. You can check with /f training. Passive mobs count as 5 exp, common harmful mobs count as 10, stronger harmful mobs count as 15, nether mobs count as 20, bosses count as 40, and players count as 30.
Spike Fist Style. +1 knockback, +2 attack power, -2 speed.
It fluxuates, but generally it either gains you +.01 to +.1 attack power, knockback or defense every level. Here's the special moves and the levels they're unlocked.
Level 10: Wrecking Ball Form. This makes the player home into an enemy, and makes a small explosion, but doesn't hurt anyone except for the blocks around. It also makes a knockback 5, which when upgraded (50EXP gauge) it'll give a -.05 cooldown time, a +.05 attack power, and a +.01 knockback power. It has a cooldown of 20 seconds. Base damage: .5 heart
Level 20: Bone Bash. This gives the power to inflict nausea 10 for 5 seconds, slowness 20 for 10 seconds, and deals one heart of damage, with a cooldown of 20 seconds. The upgrade gauge is 55EXP, and when upgraded, it'll give +.05 effectiveness with nausea, +.05 level of slowness, along with time, and .5 amount of damage.
Level 30: Earth Shatter. The player jumps into the air about 5 blocks, and crashes down making a 3 block radius 3 blocks lower, 6 block radius 2 blocks lower and a 9 block radius 1 block lower. This also deals 1 heart of damage to anything in around this radius. This has a 70EXP gauge, and the damage amount is increased by +.05 every level. Every 10 levels, the radius is increased by 2 for every steepness, along with -.05 second cooldown. This has a 40 second cooldown.
Level 40: Oni's Fist. The player homes into the closest entity, and strikes with a 7 knockback power, and 1 heart of damage. a half sphere (to the enemy's side) of fire is replaced from air at a 4 block radius. This has a 30 second cooldown, and its EXP gauge is 65. For every level, +.05 strike damage, +.05 homing speed, and +.07 knockback is dealt, along with a -.05 cooldown speed. Every 5 levels, the sphere of flames is increased by 1 block.
Blasting Flames Style. +1 speed, 20% chance for fire aspect 1, and +.05 attacking power.
It has its ups and downs, but generally gives +.01 to +.04 attacking power, +.01% chance increase for fire aspect, or +.01 speed every level. Here's the special moves for this style.
Level 5: Drunkard's Fire. This has a 5 second warmup, and in that time you gain nausea. After 5 seconds, you shoot a fireball, which does .5 damage, with a blast radius of 1.It also has a cooldown of 25 seconds. It has a 20EXP level guage, and when it does level up, you get -.005 second warmup, +.05 damage, -.05 cooldown time, and every 5 levels the blast radius is +1 block bigger.
Level 10: Fire walk. This is a passive skill, but whenever on ice or snow, it melts. It still levels up! With an EXP gauge of 60, after 20 levels, your trail you lead is completely fire. After 22 levels, you can control this by instead only making it happen with /strike 2, which then it stops after 10 seconds, with a cooldown of 10 seconds. After that, you get a -.01 second cooldown and a +.001 second time with the fire walk. At 60 levels, you are impervious to fire.
Level 25: Fire Barrel. You make a path of fire, 7 blocks width, and 10 blocks length. The cooldown is 20 seconds, and the EXP gauge is 50. Every level up, you get -.05 seconds of cooldown. Every 5 levels, the block of length is increased by 1, and every 15 levels, the width is increase by 1 on both sides of you, so like 2.
Level 40: The Dragon. You make a line of tnt, that stops when it has hit a block. The cooldown is 50. The EXP gauge is 85, too. Every level, the cooldown is decreased by .08. Every 15 levels, you gain another line of tnt. After 55 levels, you are completely blast impervious.
Acrobatic Tengu Style. +3 speed, -1 damage, jump height +1.
It's all good, but usually gives +.2 to +.1 jump height, +.01 to +.2 speed or +.01% to +.03% chance to give someone nausea 5 for 3 seconds every level. Here's its special moves.
Level 20: The Catch. If there is a drop of +6 blocks in a 10 block radius, you and an entity around you are both hurled down it, with then the enemy gaining nausea 5 for 5 seconds upon landing on a block. It has an EXP gauge of 30, with a cooldown of 20 seconds. For every level, there is -.05 cooldown speed, and every 5 levels, +1 second for nausea upon the enemy. Every 10 levels, the block radius increased by 2. After 55 levels, you are completely impervious to fall damage.
Level 30: Graceful Steps. This is more of a passive skill but Lava and Water are now treated as blocks to step on.
Level 35: Arrow Frenzy. You must be holding a bow in hand. When used, you shoot 15 arrows in random directions. It has an EXP gauge of 45, with a cooldown of 50. -.05 cooldown speed every level up, and +1 arrow every 6 levels.
Level 50: Tengu Flight. Only in mid-air, you can float.
Frosted Spear Style. +3 speed over ice/snow, 1.5 damage, and a .01% chance to make an enemy slow for 10 seconds.
Good and stuff, but gives +.01 to +.3 speed, +.01 to +.02 attacking power or 0.1 to 0.4% chance increase for enemy slowing every level.
Level 15: Cold Toes. Every step you make, makes snow appear underneath you. If you are on water, it freezes instantly. It has an EXP gauge of 40, and after 10 levels, you can do /strike 1 to turn it off or on.
Level 25: Control. This summons a snow golem. Cooldown of 25, with an EXP gauge of 30. Every level -.05 cooldown speed, and every 10 levels, you gain an extra snow golem to be summoned.
Level 35: Icicle Fury. This shoots 25 arrows in your general eye path. It has an EXP gauge of 90, and every 2 levels, you gain an extra arrow, and -.05 cooldown speed. 45 Second Cooldown.
Level 70: Rageful Blizzard. This makes snow form within a radius of 50 blocks, and 1 snowball pop out of the ground in every block. 50 second cooldown, with an EXP gauge of 100. Every level you get -.08 cooldown, and every 10 levels you extend the radius by 1 block.
Dark Witchcraft. You gain dark sparkles around you. -.03 speed.
Wicked... gives you +0.01 to +.2 chance to give a player nausea when you are hit by them, level 5, for 5 seconds or same thing, but with blindness every level.
Level 9: Stalking Eye. If you have an entity within your eye range, they have a 0.01% chance to get nausea 5 for 5 seconds. It has an EXP gauge of 50, and every level you gain +.01% chance. Passive Skill.
Level 15: Ender's Eye. Right click to teleport to where you right clicked. Cooldown of 20, -.1 second cooldown every level. Mostly Passive since it doesn't require /strike
Level 25: Minion. Summon an enderman, which attacks anyone in your eye range. 80 second cooldown, 80EXP gauge. Every level you get -1 second cooldown. Every 20 levels you summon an extra enderman.
Level 80: Wreacking Havoc. Summon an enderdragon, which can do everything like an enderdragon, but can also shoot fireballs randomly. Only hurts non-faction members and non-allies. Has a 200 second cooldown, with a 200EXP gauge. Every level you get a -2 second cooldown. Every 50 levels, you summon an extra ender dragon.
It'd be really awesome if this could be configured and new styles can be added in a YML.
