It appears the messages resource was removed by Yahoo. While executing message requests via the REST API still functions, it is not available using YQL. I suspect the REST version will disappear one day. There's still a 100 message limit, so old messages cannot be retrieved. This requires additional investigation.
So, this bug is to (a) investigate the message archiving feature, (b) document its limitations, and (c) document it accordingly.
