Sync immediately goes to complete

After running the Canvas command in the CMD (or PS), hitting enter (to confirm running on Windows), selecting 1) Synchronize my Canvas and entering my password, it starts the syncing process, but immediately completes without an error.

[*] Sync complete

I faced the same issue and found out canvas now have 120 days expiry for access token. Tried a new token and it is working again.
