Examples are irrelevant compared to the actual GPT4 output.
From the guide:
prompt: The sky is
reply: blue The sky is blue on a clear day. On a cloudy day, the sky may be gray or white.
is inferior to seemingly improved prompt:
prompt: Complete the sentence: The sky is
reply: so beautiful today.
Actual GPT4 probe in the image.
Seems like the basic examples are irrelevant as it's hard to tell which actual GPT4 version is the "improved" one.
