Discrepent results between Refindit and DataCite Metadata Search

Because using the basic search produces unhelpful results in CrossRef, one needs to use the advanced search to best discover their DOIs. However, adding the "published in" field, required for the CrossRef search, seems to cause DataCite to fail.

For example, when searching for the following citation:

Santschi, F.; (1910): Formicides nouveaux ou peu connus du Congo Français.

using Refindit's advanced search, yields no result:

http://refindit.org/find?search=advanced&author=Santschi&year=1910&title=Formicides%20nouveaux%20ou%20peu%20connus%20du%20Congo%20Fran%C3%A7ais.&origin=Annales%20de%20la%20Soci%C3%A9t%C3%A9%20Entomologique%20de%20France

But the basic search (using title) does return the correct result, among others:

The DataCite basic metadata search (using title) returns the only correct result:

http://search.datacite.org/ui?&q=Formicides+nouveaux%20ou%20peu%20connus%20du%20Congo%20Fran%C3%A7ais

And the advanced search (leaving out "published in" for which there is apparently no equivalent) returns multiple results, including the correct one
