Get processor script

Script to get processor seems to be having issues. Script just keeps running and doesn't output a CSV.

Is this for the GetApprovedProc.ps1 script?

If so, this looks like something with Invoke-WebRequest broke. The Windows PowerShell version uses (or used, I'm not sure what the backend HTML renderer is as of Windows 11) Internet Explorer to parse and render HTLM. This is more feature filled than the PowerShell Core version as that has no rendering or parsing engine.

I'm not sure what can be done to work around that at the moment but I'll raise this issue internally.

Could -UseBasicParsing help? When I add it after Invoke-WebRequest, it runs but errors at:

Setting -UseBasicParsing would no longer parse the HTML returned breaking the (already broken) $Result.ParsedHtml.getElementsByTagName("table") as you experienced. So it wouldn't help here as the parsed content is needed to iterate on the values returned by the CPU tables.

No but you can look to these three pages to see what CPUs are on the supported list. You'll mostly care about the AMD and Intel list but I'll include the Qualcomm list just in case.

When running the PowerShell scan it is not picking up the processor list an it is showing computers that we know have a valid processor as not being valid. Is there something in the script that I am missing?
