Firefox doesn´t show any tracks or favorites menu

Log out and in again, refresh, nothing helps.

Tools > Browser Console shows endless list of errors.

Here the screenshots from warnings and errors (in another browser, Opera, it does work).

[edit] I deleted the screenshots. After the Windows-Update this morning and the systen reboot the errors were almost all gone. Only three of them remain, but the issue still persists.
But in fact, I don´t really worry about - when using Opera, it works. Previously Firefox every now and then had a problem with Osmand´s web site, and it always disappeared again after some time, without taking any action. So I´ll just wait ;-)

Hi @Rowin63,

Thanks for the screenshots. Our development team suggests clearing the IndexedDB and Local Storage for OsmAnd in your Firefox browser. To do this, open OsmAnd.net, right-click on the menu, and select Inspect > Storage > IndexedDB. Select osmand.net and delete it. Please do the same for Local Storage. This will clear the local cache, but your data on OsmAnd Cloud will remain untouched. Please let us know if this helps.

The other errors appear to be related to connection issues. One of your extensions may be blocking certain connections; please try disabling them temporarily to test this.

Unfortunately, today I had to do the same again...

Strange thing.
After deleting IndexedDB and Local Storage, it worked again as expected.
Then I set some tracks on display (four or five, not really many).
One of this tracks recently fails to load: sometimes it loads but takes very long time (up to minutes), sometimes the blue progress bar doesn´t ever seem to finish, and other times an error occurs (something went wrong).

This happens only with this certain track, but this track never is a problem in the Osmand app.
The point is: after this "track loading failure", again the track and favorite list doesn´t show up anymore and I have to delete the two DB items again (haven´t tried only one of them, I always clear both as you told me to do)

In Firefox, after a problematic track fails to load (especially the version with OsmAnd elevation data), Tracks/Favorites stop showing until you clear IndexedDB + Local Storage for osmand.net.

Steps to reproduce

I tried to reproduce this on my side using a clean Firefox profile (no extensions, fresh site data):

• Opened osmand.net → logged in → opened Tracks/Favorites.
  In my case, the Tracks tab was loading for several minutes before it opened.

• Set 4–5 tracks to On display.

• Tested your files:

  • Track A (original, no elevation): loaded quickly.
  • Track B (same track with OsmAnd elevation data): loaded, but took a few minutes to appear on the map.

• After Track B was displayed, I went back to Tracks/Favorites: the tabs still opened normally and the lists were visible.

Result

So, I couldn’t reproduce the “lists disappear / need to clear IndexedDB again” behavior, but I did observe very slow loading in Firefox, especially for the elevation-enriched track.

@Rowin63 Maybe I missed something in my reproduction steps or did something differently than you. Could you please outline the exact steps that trigger the bug on your side? I tried several times, but everything works fine for me.

No, you´re doing it the same way as I do.
Since a few days I never got that "something went wrong"-notification anymore.
So from this side - and if you consider 4-6 minutes of loading time for one (!) track as "normally" - it works "normally" ;-)

But because this only happens to tracks that had added elevation data before (and by this the track´s size increases from 300kb to 1500kb by adding additional 20k trk points and extra 20k rte points as you can see over here #24284) the reason for this behavior perhaps is hidden somewhere else...

I don´t know why, but it happens again.
To me, it seems to be related to and happen since I began adding elevation data to tracks, which blows them up incredibly with rte and trk points five times its origin size. See the related issue "over there".

And Osmand Web gets unuseable slow after this, impossible to do anything. Freezes down to almost zero response.
Taking the few (10-15) tracks off display, everyting runs fine again.

@yuriiurshuliak Please try again (consider the following scenario)

1. Firefox (clean profile) > Log in to OsmAnd account
2. DevTools > Storage (IndexedDB/Local Storage) leave open
3. Import 10 large GPX files (50,000 points, about 5 MB each) and each immediately “On display”
4. Go to “Tracks/Favorites” > If after 30 seconds “Spinning” > Console has errors
5. Turn off all tracks “Off display” > Restart > List opens instantly (bug confirmed)

Three "local tracks" displayed, but only one in the list. If I want to set this one on display, Firefox ends up in an empty screen.

Needs to delete the "IndexedDB".
But that yellow warning in the bottom line of the second screenshot remains.

In Firefox, after importing multiple large GPX files and setting them “On display”, OsmAnd Web can get stuck with endless loading in Tracks/Favorites, severe slowdowns (including Firefox “page is slowing down” warning), and console errors. Disabling the displayed tracks immediately restores normal loading.

This time I was able to reproduce the same behavior on my side.

Steps to reproduce (confirmed)

1. Open Firefox (preferably a clean profile with no extensions), go to osmand.net and log in.
2. Open DevTools → Storage (keep it open while testing).
3. Import 10 large GPX files (~50,000 points each, ~5 MB each).
   Here are the tracks I used for testing: large_test_track.zip
4. Immediately set each imported track to “On display”.
5. Close the OsmAnd Web tab and open it again.
6. Go to Tracks/Favorites.

• After ~30 seconds (or longer), the page keeps spinning and Tracks/Favorites lists do not load.
• Console errors appear.
• Firefox becomes very slow and shows the warning:
  “This page is slowing down Firefox. To speed up your browser, stop this page.”

Workaround

1. Turn all tracks to “Off display”.
2. Refresh / restart the page.

• Result: Tracks/Favorites opens instantly again.

Expected result

Tracks/Favorites should load and remain usable even after importing/displaying large GPX files, and a slow/heavy track rendering path should not break the UI, cause indefinite loading, or require clearing browser storage.
