I am a student in ICT. For my dissertation, I focus on word prediction systems and I search french ngrams corpora (recent) in order to build a database. I intend to test Google Books but I find your work very interesting. Can I use/modify your files for my master thesis? Is there a copyright? I can cite your paper or publication. I would be interested to know more about your methodology. @gturret

Hi, sorry I forgot about this. You can of course do what you want with these files. I don't know about any copyright, but some Project Gutenberg License might apply. There wasn't any more elaborate methodology than described already.

Hi, thanks for your response. I wondered with which software you had extracted the ngrams of the texts. Text2ngram, the CMU Cambridge or SRILM tool? Do you still have the list of 400 most popular French books used?
