Latest nightly (https://www.ultimatepp.org/www$uppweb$download$en-us.html) can be considered the first alpha in the release process...

This is preliminary list of changes, feel free to suggest what have I forgot to mention:

• SIMD encapsulation added added i8x16 comparisons, AnyTrue, AllTrue, CountTrue, FirstTrue, FirstFalse, IsTrue functions
• Added some additional Color constants (e.g. Orange)

There is also Unix socket support, and TcpSocket is renamed as Socket class.

However, I have already implemented unix socket for Windows (#328), and there is a PR for it waiting for review, could you also check that before final release?

Hello Mirek,

For umk following options has been added besides --hub-only:

• --hub-dir — specifies the directory where UppHub packages are installed
• --out-dir — specifies the output directory for more predictable and stable builds

For ide:

• Added total package count to the UppHub dialog

Doc:

• The process of removing dead links from our documentation has begun. However, there is still more work to be done in this area, and the effort will continue in upcoming releases.

Background of scrollbars look odd (darker) on GTK backend.

In this key layout we can hide scrollbars by default when the array elements doesn't require it especially for the first array from the left (Group). Similar like we are doing for assemblies in TheIDE. On KDE it looks fine:

By the way, not urgent, can wait the next cycle but please check the SecureRandom and SecureNonce generator proposal (#270) when you have time. It is meant to be the third component of "secure" tools.

Problem with menu:
Platform: Linux, XFCE4.
Window manager: herbstluftwm (this window manger doesn't have window decoration).
TheIDE is built via: umk uppsrc ide CLANG -bars
This problem with menu happens randomly.

Memory sanitizer reports one problem which is not reported by valgrind, but it doesn't seem to be related to menu.

I double-checked the if(IsWayland() || popup) { solution and it fixes the problem.
The source code was rebuilt via umk uppsrc ide CLANG -barsu.
After a code change it was built via umk uppsrc ide CLANG -brsu.

Well, the most likely cause is interprocess race condition between WM and gtk... that whole idea of implementing GUI by passing asynchronous messages between processes... and leaving part of GUI - WM - to be implemented in multiple variations, each time with unique set of glitches.

Hi,

at the moment I see 2 unresolved issues:

• theide might be freezing in POSIX. I have not experienced for some time now - is there any update?
• there is probably a problem with clipboard in xwayland (pasting files in KDE from Dolphin to theide?)

Anything else? I will also try to update plugins and remaining win32 libs...

The freezing I mentione on discord is still there. It is even more rare and so random that I have to wait minutes to see it happens. Unfortunately I still couldn't get a backtrace. It does not happen on debug code (at least till now).
