My understanding is that Harmony OS 4 can run Android apps (and so Skip apps will probably just work on Harmony OS 4, the same as any other Android app), but Harmony OS 5 and higher does its own thing that has nothing to do with Android. (Some kinda TypeScript thing…? It's nothing like Android Compose.) Skip's main feature is SkipUI, a reimplementation of SwiftUI based on Jetpack Compose. Jetpack Compose doesn't work on Harmony OS 5, and so it's unlikely that it will ever make sense for Skip to support the latest Harmony OS. |
