I’m having trouble tracking the API calls in real-time since the updates aren't reflected immediately. Is there a way to monitor them more promptly?

It's cached, yes. You can use webhooks to get real-time notifications as they come in for the events that you care about, in case you're wanting to record these metrics in other analytics tools. Or if you're self-hosting, you can query the data manually.
