Yes to this. This has been asked multiple times since last couple of years. Give the users what they are asking for. Keep up with competitors and the direction where web is generally heading towards. |

Would it possible to also allow the trigger to be based on another atomic element e.g. if this button-id is clicked, fade in image |

Description
Hi Elementor Team 👋
First of all, thank you for the work you’re doing on Editor V4. The new CSS-first architecture, atomic components, and performance improvements are a big step forward and very promising for the future of Elementor.
I’d like to share feedback and a feature request related to animations and interactions.
Currently, Elementor provides motion effects, entrance animations, and basic interactions, which are useful. However, compared to tools like Webflow, the animation and interaction system is still quite limited for building modern, highly interactive websites.
What’s missing / requested:
It would be great to see a more advanced, native interaction system in Editor V4, similar to Webflow’s Interactions, including:
A visual timeline-based animation editor
Support for multiple triggers (scroll, hover, click, load, viewport enter, etc.)
Ability to sequence and synchronize animations across multiple elements
Scroll-linked animations with fine-grained control (progress-based, scrubbed animations)
Reusable animation presets or interaction classes
Better coordination between states (hover, active, scroll states)
Why this matters:
Modern websites rely heavily on micro-interactions and smooth motion for UX and storytelling
Many designers choose Webflow specifically because of its interaction system
Adding a powerful native motion system would make Elementor a much stronger competitor and reduce the need for third-party plugins or custom JS (GSAP, ScrollTrigger, etc.)
Editor V4 feels like the perfect foundation to introduce this, especially with its new styling and structural model.
Thanks for considering this feedback — excited to see how Editor V4 evolves
