Self description of ECARX ECARX supplier of cockpit system HW/SW
Custom base in China, Germany, Sweden. Expanding to world.
Antora platform for cockpit systems. Automated parking functions used. Not just ultrasonic, also autotuning for obstacles.
Qualcomm based platform presented at CES. Cockpit and ADAS functions running in parallel.
Collaborations with Qorix (parallel architecture).
Regular exchange with BMW knowledge of time module requirement in S-CORE
ECARX wants to fill in the gap for need
Fusion platform regarding a new approach is needed.
Involvement needs to be defined and discussed with head of RND at ECARX

Q1: Unit test are needed, should they also be certified?
Q2: G-test, and other testing environments.

Tests are done in S-CORE.
Validas for Bazel and other parts. Dedicated test community defines what tooling should be used. Component testing, end to end testing. ITF (integrated testing framework) by BMW for integration tests. SCTF bigger than SCTF where individual docker containers can be spawned, smoke test can be made, inter container testing can be done.
Dedicated meeting for security.

Describes that they want to stick to time module at first (code developers).

Explains that Lifecycle situation is similar: What multiple contribution pitches, merge on code and concepts and definition of timeline.
Realistic schedule and plan needs to be made for time module. Currently there are three contribution pitches. Sync between BMW time + ECARX + ETAS.
We need to determine the roles and responsibilities. Especially who drives the topic when it comes to coordinating, the certification process and security.

ECARX will focus on time module first. They want to "grow into" S-CORE.

For the S-CORE Eclipse project developers from ECARX will need to be elected as this is required for larger contributions.
