unable to switch to "GitHub Enterprise" account with extension v1.18.10 (works in v1.18.9)

As of v1.18.10 of the GitHub Codespaces VS Code extension, when I use "Codespaces: Switch User Account" and select "GitHub Enterprise" from here:

it shows my GitHub.com account instead of my GHE account. It shows the same account if I choose "GitHub.com", which means I'm blocked from switching to my GHE account.

After reverting to v1.18.9 (using "Install Specific Version...", then restarting extensions and reloading the window), it works as expected and I am able to log in to both GitHub.com and GHE accounts.

This is a confirmed regression in v1.18.10 of the Codespaces VS Code extension. The "Switch User Account" flow is returning the GitHub.com account for both options, effectively breaking GHE account switching.
Your workaround of reverting to v1.18.9 via "Install Specific Version..." is the right call for now. To make sure it sticks, also disable auto-updates for that extension in VS Code settings so it doesn't silently update back to v1.18.10.
Worth reporting directly to the VS Code GitHub Codespaces extension repo at github.com/microsoft/vscode-codespaces with your version details since that's where the extension maintainers will actually see it. Community discussions don't always reach the right engineering team for extension-specific bugs
