RFC: TypeScript SDK for BubuStack

Overview

Proposal to build a TypeScript SDK matching the Go SDK's ABI contract for Engrams and Impulses.

Motivation

TypeScript/JavaScript is ubiquitous in web development and increasingly used for AI agent tooling. A TS SDK would enable:

• Browser-adjacent component development
• Node.js-based Engrams and Impulses
• Integration with the JS/TS AI ecosystem (LangChain.js, Vercel AI SDK, etc.)

Design constraints

• Same ABI contract as Go SDK
• CloudEvents adoption (Standardize impulse and hook events as CloudEvents #43) makes the event contract language-agnostic
• Must support: batch execution, streaming, impulse triggers, testkit
• Node.js runtime (not browser — components run in containers)
• npm/yarn distribution

Questions for discussion

1. Node.js only or also Deno/Bun?
2. Minimum Node.js version?
3. Should streaming use Node.js streams or AsyncIterator?
4. Who is interested in contributing?

Dependencies

• CloudEvents adoption (Standardize impulse and hook events as CloudEvents #43)
• Stable Go SDK ABI (currently pre-1.0)
