Question about explorer support for very small smart contracts

I’m deploying very small Solidity contracts
(simple state changes and payable examples) on EVM chains.

From an explorer perspective,
are there any limitations or considerations
when indexing or displaying extremely minimal contracts?

Hi! From my experience with Blockscout, there shouldn't be any particular limitations or issues with indexing and displaying minimal contracts. The explorer treats all smart contracts equally regardless of size - whether they're simple state change contracts or more complex DApps.
A few points that might be helpful:
Verification: Even for very small contracts, you can still verify them through the standard verification methods (Solidity compiler, Hardhat, etc.). This helps users see your source code directly in the explorer.
Gas optimization: Smaller contracts are actually beneficial since they cost less gas to deploy and interact with, and the explorer will display these gas metrics clearly.
Display: The explorer will show all standard information (transactions, internal transactions, events, token transfers if applicable, read/write contract functions) just as it would for larger contracts.
The only consideration I can think of is that extremely minimal contracts might have fewer interesting features to display (fewer functions, events, etc.), but that's by design rather than a limitation of the explorer itself.
