Describe the session
Biological data is exploding in scale and complexity, from single-cell sequencing to clinical imaging. AI-driven visualization could provide powerful ways to make this data interpretable, interactive, and actionable—but it raises unique challenges when working with sensitive data.
In this talk, I’ll share how we are planning to approach these challenges at Cirro, a cloud-native platform developed at Fred Hutchinson Cancer Center for biomedical research. I’ll discuss the privacy, governance, and reproducibility hurdles that come with applying these methods to human health data, and how design and infrastructure choices can mitigate them.
