Different cover page formats for OCP contributions

OCP has different templates for specification and other documents - https://www.opencompute.org/contributions/templates-agreements
Most notable is that the cover/title page are different.

The markdown converter only supports the specification cover page format - https://github.com/opencomputeproject/ocp-spec-tools

Before filing an issue on the converter repository request support for additional cover page formats, an OCP direction regarding the cover page would be useful. Will there be a common cover page for OCP contributions (specifications, documents, arch specs), or will there continue to be distinct cover pages?

The cover page for all specifications shall be the same. If we have deviation today, I am unaware but have no problem stating we should drive alignment.

I have no intention to address non-specification documents (whitepapers, guidelines, case studies ...) but if that is a particular concern, let me know which documents need to be addressed and I will find the owner on foundation staff.

My question spans all the documents which OCP workstreams can contribute. Why are cover sheets for spec and non-spec OCP documents different. For a workstream to start doing documents in Markdown, then they should be able to do all their documents (spec and non-spec) in Markdown and have the PDF converter support all the cover pages that OCP requires. Otherwise, the migration to Markdown will get stuck.

(I have that problem now with the Profile documents, they use the spec cover page format).

I will pursue this as part of the quest for quality. It will take some time to assess all the contributions (>4 weeks) and will update when i have data.
