I usually use simdock with the fast animation setting. This seems to get lost sometimes, at least the animations slow down for one reason or the other occasionally. Restarting simdock fixes this. Maybe something corrupts the read config value, or the animations slow down for something not related to the setting?
It is unclear to me when exactly this bug occurs, so reproducing it is hard.
