no download from youtube possible

Since today, the downloader doesnt download videos fom youtube anymore.
It finds the video no problem via the video link, but when pressing download, it tries to gather the information and after ca. 15 seconds it times out with the error "failed"

Hope that issue can be resolved soon.

yes, same for me, worked for like 2 days and then it stopped working again ... changes the status between "gathering information" and "downloading"

Chiming in here. We are now on 1.2.23.0

I am fairly certain I downloaded a clip from youtube that was marked as kid content (lacks possibility to save or download directly from youtube) just before the last update. Spent some time evaluating yesterday, but this really seems to be the decider between "download" and "failed".

Now, I also tried reverting back just by downloading 1.2.22.0 from Github and getting the very same clip I got about 10-14 days ago, it starts downloading, reverts to "Gathering information..." before showing "Failed" after a few rounds.

I hope this information helps, if I can test something else, please let me know. 🙂
