MBTA application registration takes a long time or is broken

On the geocoding toolbox, [we] are having a hard time getting an API key. The included one is a dummy string, and the mbta application registration seems to be done manually as our API keys are marked “pending” (with no eta…). We will update if this goes through, in which case maybe next year’s site can have a warning about this? Thanks!
