PromptOS is an experimental, educational project. We want participation to be a positive experience for everyone — whether you're an OS veteran pointing out architectural issues or a beginner learning about kernels for the first time.
We pledge to make participation in this project a harassment-free experience for everyone, regardless of age, body size, visible or invisible disability, ethnicity, sex characteristics, gender identity and expression, level of experience, education, socio-economic status, nationality, personal appearance, race, caste, color, religion, or sexual identity and orientation.
Positive behavior includes:
- Being respectful and constructive in code reviews
- Acknowledging that this is an AI-generated codebase — critique the code, not the author
- Welcoming newcomers to systems programming
- Giving credit when building on others' work
- Focusing on what's best for the project and community
Unacceptable behavior includes:
- Personal attacks, insults, or derogatory comments
- Trolling or deliberately inflammatory responses
- Harassment of any kind, public or private
- Publishing others' private information without permission
Project maintainers are responsible for clarifying and enforcing these standards. Instances of unacceptable behavior may be reported by opening an issue or contacting the maintainer directly via GitHub.
This Code of Conduct is adapted from the Contributor Covenant, version 2.1.
