Support absolute paths for input and output folders

I am running batch_transcode on a Macbook pro(el capitan) and get the following error. Do you any ideas how to resolve this?

You need to specify an input path using the --input option and an output path using the --output option. Run batch-transcode-video --help to learn more about the options available.

I'm seeing the same thing, when specifying a path:

I don't understand why it's ending up in such seemingly random directories, unless I'm building paths incorrectly. Successive runs result in the access error occurring on different directories.

@chris-erickson I think I know what the problem might be in your case. batch-transcode-video expects input and output to be paths relative to the current directory where you are running the batch-transcode-video command.

I could add support for absolute paths, but right now it resolves input and output relative to the current working directory.

You could do this:

cd /Users/testuser/Desktop
batch-transcode-video --input "FTETTM/" --output "FTETTM/converted/"
