I had to many channel pages open so I got rate limited (http error status code 429) BUT after I closed some and I got replenished the messages did come back in:
see messages in Response and green http error status code 200
but website still showed Error reaching API server:
I had to manually refresh the complete webpage to have the messages appear again.
It would be nice if the messages part of the webpage got automatically refreshed and be shown instead of the error message.
