ST(E)P file output / easier modification

I don't know library used underneath for creating models but maybe it supports export to ST(E)P files too?
They're much easier to modify in CAD software than 3MF.

I'd like to use your lovely generator for creating some enclosures for my homelab I'm planning to put on Skadis board so ability to add some vents and extra holes is a must for me. If there's no way to export to ST(E)P files then maybe an option to disable fillets?
The more curly edges the harder is to modify some model after import to CAD.

Oof, that's gonna be a tricky one. I'm using the manifold CAD library for generating the model, and exporting to 3MF from it is very easy (I believe @elalish, the library's author, was involved in designing the 3MF format).

Unfortunately, although I've used STEP before, I'm not familiar with the actual data format at all. I'll need to look into that -- though it would be a great addition.

Here's a patch that makes the fillet radius customizable. You can test it out and see if it works for you (it's very much untested):

Thanks. With radius set to 0mm I can modify model to simple plate like this:

Obviously I'd be more happy with having opportunity to simply choose 0mm depth and get such model directly but I'm selfish here and I'm trying to satisfy my needs ;)

Speaking about dimensions I'm pretty surprised that height is determined by number of levels. I mean it's useful and probably easier but OTOH it's a bit limiting. I'd rather allow user to specify height and then populate it with whatever number of connectors fit such surface and maybe with possibility to define number of levels by users. Of course within the limit that will fit the surface.

But these are just my ideas and as I said I'm trying to leverage your work for my needs so I want to use it as a base for other stuff.

Just to give you and idea what I'm trying to attach to my Skadis board:

And obviously the hardest part is to actually connect it somehow to the board so your solution fits it nicely... and that's the part I'd like to "steal" from you and adapt to my needs.

Cool! Yeah, STEP is a pain - vastly more complex than triangle formats like 3MF. Plus they have a troubling tendency to not maintain manifoldness through export/import.
