I think it would be nice to have GTDB-Tk added to the pipeline. That would help to find the closest reference sequence in GTDB and see how similar it is.
It also connects to nf-core/ampliseq and nf-core/mag that support GTDB taxonomic classification.
Regarding the implementation, possibly nf-core/mag could serve as a blue print.
